Music is integral to our Worship at Holy Redeemer. Each Sunday our worship is supported by the Parish Choir. Our music selections incorporate a variety of musical traditions. In addition to Episcopal Hymnal, Holy Redeemer honors our African-American Heritage by using the Lift Every Voice and Sing hymnal and other musical resources.

Currently, we are in the midst of renovating and expanding the church organ.  The Organ should be completed by mid January 2015.

Frequently, visiting musicians are invited to provide instrumental and choral music to help make worship even more meaningful. This is particularly true for Easter and Christmas. Our congregation particularly honors young musicians and we have been blessed to have the Rocky Mountain Children’s Choir and the St. Elizabeth’s Children Choir join us for worship.

The Parish Choir at Church of the Holy Redeemer provides choral music to support our worship. The Choir is made of members of our church community and membership is open to any and all. The Choir is directed by Kevin Kennedy who is a gifted musician, choir director and vocal coach with many years of church music experience.

Each year, the Church of the Holy Redeemer creates an opportunity for several high school student to sing with the Parish Choir. This chorister leads a section, develops good sight reading skills, receives a small stipend, and experiences a professional singing job. It is wonderful to see the choristers develop and improve through out their tenure. For 2014-2015, the Parish Choir has three high school choristers, two of who have returned for a second year.

Kevin is always looking for new choir members. Rehearsals are on Sunday mornings at 9:00.  This is a good option for people who would have trouble with a weekday rehearsal. Please enjoy their offering each Sunday morning. If you are interested in joining the choir, please contact Kevin Kennedy through the office at
