The Rev. Bonnie Sarah Spencer is delighted to serve as part-time priest in charge at Church of the Holy Redeemer in Denver.  She has been ordained since 1999 and has served churches in Colorado and Massachusetts. She is passionate about following Jesus and is grateful to be a part of the Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement, which is committed to the life-giving, liberating, loving way of Jesus.

Rev. Bonnie is also a member of the Diocese of Colorado Race Task Force.  Their goals include education throughout the diocese about racism in the church and society, and community engagement around racial justice.

Bonnie was raised mostly in New York practicing the Jewish faith. She had a conversion experience in college at the University of Colorado in Boulder.  She worked for 9 years in campus ministry before attending The General Theological Seminary.  Bonnie is married to Catherine Anderson and has a puppy named Asher.  When not working she enjoys reading, hiking, running, hanging out with friends and family, and good craft beer.
